HOW TO MODIFY OPERA NEXT 7.0 HANDLER BY BASH SADAU

APPLICATIONS NEEDED
- Opera7 in .zip
- Propaint or any image editor
app
- Calc4m
- Class editor
There is little different
between the process of
editing opera5&6 splash,
loadingbar & loadingbar and
process for opera7. Read its
tutorial Editing opera5&6
splash, loadingbar, loadingbg
and splash background
It is advisable that you read
the above tutorial.
The Tutorial
Create three (3) png files.
(using propaint)
Splash.png
Loadingbg.png 20x8
Loadingbar.png 20x8
Know their bytesize
open your class editor >
locate Splash.png > open it,
scrol down until you reach its
end > press * key and its size
will show at the screen
bottom > write it down.
Repeat this process for
loadingbg.png and
loadingbar.png
Change their bytesize to hex
open your calc4m > enter the
byte size of splash.png >
press down key 2 times >
then press & hold key # >
write down the answer.
Repeat this process for
loadingbg.png and
loadingbar.png
Note: splash.png will be used
for splash screen,
loadingbg.png is the
background color for
loadingbar, loadingbar.png is
for loading bar.
Compile them into 1
use class editor > open
splash.png > copy it and back
> open loadingbg.png > press
* key > press 5 and insert >
copy everything and back >
open loadingbar.png > press
* key > press 5 and insert >
press upper left key and save.
Change the default to your
own
use class editor > open your
compiled 3in1 png (splash,
loadinpgbg, loadingbar) >
copy and back > open v of
your opera7 > press key 7 >
enter 1185 ok and press key 6
> press * key > start highlight
from X to the end of the v >
press key 5 and insert > press
upper left key and save.
Search for the following
default hexes and replace
them with yours
0389 for splash screen
7B for loadingbg
6B for loadingbar
Tip: search for 0389 and you
will see 7B and 6B under it.
To search, use class editor >
open v > press key 0 (zero) >
press key 9 > in the hex box
enter 0389 > ok and press key
6.
Replace them with your own
hex using key 3 > press upper
left key and save.
Compress your opera7 and
see your work.
To change the splash only >
open the v > start highlight
from 1186 (which is X) to
2090 > insert your splash.png
change 0389 hex only.
